The disciplined desk between buyer and seller.
Plub9 is an international trade advisory and brokerage. We qualify counterparties, structure transactions from first contact to settlement, and broker cross-border commodity deals under the documentary discipline that makes them close.
/The firm
Advisory and brokerage, under one discipline.
A boutique desk for principals who intend to close, not to circulate offers.
Plub9 works only with disclosed principals. We do not carry undisclosed broker chains in either direction, because a chain no one will name is where deals stall and fraud grows. Before any introduction, both sides are qualified.
Our role is two things held together. We advise on how a cross-border transaction should be structured, from the first letter of intent to payment against documents, and we broker the deal between qualified counterparties. Our commission is protected by an IMFPA and paid out of the transaction, never added onto the buyer's price, so our interest never distorts the terms.
The result is a desk both sides can trust for the same reason: nobody is asked to expose value before the other has committed something of equal weight.
/What we do
Four things, done properly.
Counterparty qualification
KYC, sanctions screening, and verifiable proof of funds or product before anyone is introduced. The check that removes most of the risk happens first, not last.
Transaction structuring
The documentary sequence from LOI to SPA, aligned before cargo moves. Each stage gates the next, so neither side carries a risk the other has not matched.
Documentary and compliance advisory
Delivery under Incoterms 2020, payment under UCP 600, inspection at loading. We make sure the paper that releases the money describes real, conforming goods.
Brokerage and mandate representation
Disclosed, IMFPA-protected brokerage that connects qualified buyers and sellers, and represents a mandate through to settlement without bending the terms.
/Process
Six stages, first contact to close.
Documented and sequential. Nothing advances until the prior condition is formally met.
- 01
Qualify
Disclosed principals, KYC, and verifiable proof of funds or product on both sides.
- 02
Protect
An NCNDA is signed before any introduction, so the conversation can become specific.
- 03
Offer
A full corporate offer and the buyer's irrevocable order align the commercial terms.
- 04
Contract
The SPA fixes specification, tolerance, delivery, inspection, payment and remedies.
- 05
Instrument
Payment by DLC or SBLC under UCP 600, and performance secured by a bond.
- 06
Close
Independent inspection at loading, shipment, and payment against conforming documents.
/Standards
We work to one standard, on both sides.
These are not negotiable, and stating them early is what keeps a broker honest.
- 01Disclosed principals only. No undisclosed multi-broker chains, in any direction.
- 02Verifiable funds and product. Proof of funds for buyers, proof of product and mandate for sellers.
- 03Protected origin. Supplier identity is confirmed by inspection at loading, not by circulating documents.
- 04ICC frameworks. Incoterms 2020 for delivery, UCP 600 for payment, recognised everywhere.
- 05Independent inspection. Quality and quantity verified on the buyer's cargo by a recognised agency.
The discipline is not bureaucracy. It is what makes a cross-border deal close, and what keeps a broker honest.
/Contact
Bring a defined mandate.
If you operate to these standards, disclosed principals, verifiable funds or product, and signed protections, bring the requirement to the desk. Unqualified probes are not worked.
